HERSTORY x BEAUTY FOR FREEDOM

We’ve partnered with Beauty for Freedom on their #HERSTORY livestream event, showcasing artists and activists to fundraise for Black owned grassroots organizations. Members Somayeh Jafari, Anna Dobos and Shireen Hinckley chatted with Beauty for Freedom founder Monica Watkins about the driving forces behind our female driven filmmaking collective.

MOSAIK EDUCATION CENTRE

In July 2019, members Shireen Hinckley, Anna Dobos and Chiara Towne met on Lesvos, Greece to shoot promotional material for Mytilini based organisation Mosaik, highlighting the political and social consequences of Greece’s treatment of refugees and migrants and the importance of education centres like Mosaik.

THE HELEN BAMBER FOUNDATION x TRIBE: HIKE FOR FREEDOM

Throughout 2019, member Anna Dobos collaborated with The Helen Bamber Foundation to document their ‘Hike for Freedom’ project in collaboration with Tribe. With camera in hand, she accompanied a brave and resilient group of women as they trained for and undertook the Three Peaks Challenge, reaching the peaks of Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales.
